Your own short 15 minute training session in advance, ready to deliver and discuss on session 5

Session 1 – Professional Brand

Your elevator pitch, my personal feedback on the impact you deliver, dealing with any residual nerves and establishing your professional new trainer presence and brand

Session 2 – Training Essentials

Why we train, the drivers and the blocks, some current training theories, introduction to the ADDIE training cycle and Learning Needs Analysis

Session 3 – Training Design and Development

Exploring aim, objectives and Bloom’s Taxonomy, writing guidelines and trainer notes, choosing your delivery style including PowerPoint, roleplay and practical exercise options

Session 4 – Training Delivery

In-person and online implementation and delivery essentials, including public speaking, facilitation skills, dealing with Q&A, difficult situations and challenging audiences

Session 5 – Practical

You’ll deliver your own pre-prepared 15 minute training session to me for feedback, discussion and personal development, followed by a look at the Kirkpatrick four levels of training Evaluation

Session 6 – Coaching and Feedback Skills

A practical session on skills for the developing Trainer’s toolkit, looking at key essentials for sharing feedback and an introduction to the GROW coaching model
